of Leaves and Vacations
Last 5 days or so that I have been home due to my wife's surgery have been an eyeopener in terms of my "relationship" with my family.Due to her illness, we could not go out .. Even for a dinner.. Which meant 24 hours at home.. Except in the evenings when I religiously took my kids out to either crossroads, crosswords or some park.. Over the past few days, my kids (especially my daughter) has opened up so much to me.. Even my aunt who lives with us spoke to me on issues that she usually does not discuss..Moral of story.. Once in a while .. Take a leave but do not go on a vacation !!!Spend more time at home..

As ever said....quality over quantity :)
Sometimes we get so caught up in our daily routine that life just slips by quietly. Sometimes we 'experience' life in just a few moments.
Isn't it true that some of the most cherished moments in life are those that quietly sneak up behind you when you least expected?
Here's a toast to better "relationships" and deeper conversations!
